New Employability Program for international students
Big news! Today we’re launching a new program to help international students land their dream job. Our
2021 Employability Program
is free for international students studying in NSW or outside of Australia with a NSW education provider.
We’ve partnered with Academy of Entrepreneurs, Haymarket HQ and Readygrad to deliver 18 FREE events over the next four months. The program includes virtual and in-person events with guest speakers, student entrepreneurs and access one-on-one mentoring. Check it out!

Free Career Success Essential Workshops with City of Sydney
This new program has been designed for international students to help you develop necessary skills to succeed in your job search and professional career. In this workshop series, you’ll increase your employability skills and career success by learning more about communication and job search strategies.

The NSW Government continues to progress planning for the return of international students to our State. Any announcements will be shared through the Study NSW mailing list and social media channels.

COVID-19 support and resources
More than 20,000 food hampers distributed to international students
The NSW Government through Study NSW is working with Foodbank NSW & ACT to provide food hampers to international students in Sydney and regional NSW.
Since July 2020, international students in NSW from universities, TAFE and private educational institutions have collected more than 20,000 food hampers through this program.
Please help us better support you by taking 4 minutes to complete this survey to provide feedback on this support measure.

Study NSW has partnered with Foodbank and 11 education and charity partners to distribute 62,500 food hampers to international students in NSW. There are 18 distribution centres with friendly volunteers ready to help. You can access hampers by completing

The latest COVID-19 restrictions
A number of COVID-19 restrictions across NSW were lifted on
Monday 29 March
as the State continues to move forward in a COVID-Safe way. However, important COVID-19 restrictions continue to
apply to protect our community, and we need to maintain high rates of COVID-19 testing to remain safe.
Study NSW Partner Projects
Apply for Practera’s Business Opportunity Accelerator Program
With Study NSW funding, Practera is running a Business Opportunity Accelerator Program for international students. Orientation will be held on Thursday 6 May and the two-week program will start on Monday 10 May.
